Appropriate for an October Blog post, is the spooky haunted house gift sets that the Nancy Drew books came packaged in--the matte yellow spines versions. I've always managed to miss the auctions for the larger box sets shown above and below.
But I do own 2 versions of the 3 book set below--the slip case version.
The ink-topped pages on my set are all black, not red. Some may come with red if I remember right? There was a bookstore promotion at one time with the first 3 that had red-topped pages so I'm not sure if someone was thinking of those or not.If anyone has any of the version above which shows the 2 books side by side, and is interested in selling, please contact me :) nancydrewsleuth@aol.com
