I'm creating a private Nancy Drew Blog entitled: 365 Days of Nancy Drew, as a Blog Party to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Nancy Drew next year!

There will be postings every day on all kinds of topics from fun facts, trivia, quotes, insights from the history behind the series, book and character discussions, craft projects, guest Bloggers, news and scoops, 80th anniversary items, giveaways and much more! It's like your own page-a-day calendar but more in-depth and insightful.

Members of the Blog can chat in the comments with each other and ask questions for myself and guest Bloggers to answer.

To sign up and view more details click here.

The Blog begins Jan 1, 2010 - postings every day. Everything is archived and you can join at anytime. Once you sign up, you'll be e-mailed an invitation to join the private Blog. Cost is just 12.00 - which is 1.00 per month averaged. I take checks/money orders and Pay Pal--there's a subscribe button right at the website link above to make it easier. Nancy Drew segment on Phoenix Fox 10

I don't think I ever pasted the link to the local Phoenix, AZ Fox 10 segment that aired on October 12. Check it out here!

Photo above I took of the reporter and camera guy in front of the collection. Note all the star wars additives in the piece--I'm wondering if the reporter collects that stuff. I still have all my Star Wars action figures from the 70s and some play sets!

Today Show Picks Nancy Drew & Hardy Boys for Book Club

The Today Show's Al Roker has a book club for kids called Al's Book Club. They pick a selection and club members read the book and then he chats with some of them about it on the show throughout the year. The segment will air on the show early next year. If everything works out, I'll be on the show with Al and the kids talking about Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys.

They have selected the first Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books--The Secret of the Old Clock and The Tower Treasure for the kids to read.

Check it out online--"Al's Book Club Goes Retro: 'Nancy Drew,' 'Hardy Boys'."
