Recently another Nancy Drew cover art painting came up for sale - at Swann Auction Galleries in NYC. The Secret in the Old Attic, book #21 in the classic Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series, was first published in 1944 and the original cover art by Russell H. Tandy is popular among fans of the series. A few years ago Swann also sold another Nancy Drew Tandy painting, The Secret at Shadow Ranch.
The Tandy family auctioned the painting through Swann and the auction was held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. The final price with buyer's premium was $35,000.00.
