Wallpapering Nancy Drew books? Oh the horror!Not sure if a child or an adult did this but, what it all adds up to is a disaster needing Nancy Drew to get to the bottom of this conundrum.
I give them a C for creative effort but an F on the longterm collectability of these particular books...

Ha! I just saw that listing tonight. The main reason I clicked on it was to make sure that it was not some really unusual library binding. Once I saw it was wallpaper, I was not impressed. The question is whether the wallpaper was moistened and affixed to the books or whether it was just taped in place. Now if the wallpaper was moistened... what a disaster!
Oh no! Where did you find these? I can't believe someone would do that! I think the covers are so cute. But I do know some of the older ones don't have a picture on them! I have a few vintage books I got at garage sales. I like their covers alot. Have a good night! XO Fran.
Let's hope it was just taped on there :) They are listed at eBay right now.
