A few weeks ago I was at a local store, Bookman's, doing some book hunting. I didn't find a lot that I needed, but wanted to include shots of the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books in their store. The children's area is really large and so there is quite a bit of variety. During the 2005 Nancy Drew Sleuth convention, we made this store one of our book store stops.I have found quite a few picture covers and paperbacks here over the last few years and those with the Cookbook ads on back which I look for.
They had a lot of Bobbsey Twins books, but I'm never too enthused by those books. And some miscellaneous series too. Trixies, Tom Swifts, Three Investigators plus Whitman series and some older items.
They do have a vintage books area, but it's very small and not too much is there. I found an old Hardy Boys book in dust jacket in the regular children's area a year or two ago, so those books don't always make it over to the vintage area sometimes.Jenn:)
