Mildred Wirt Benson Bookcase Funded for University of Iowa Women's Archive

UPDATE: Members of Nancy Drew Sleuths, collectors and fans, and the family of Mildred Wirt Benson have recently funded a special enclosed book case to be built and housed at the University of Iowa in the Women's Archives to house Millie's author's copies of all her books she wrote which were donated after her daughter passed away. It will be a very nice memorial to the woman who helped make Nancy Drew such a pop culture icon! Thanks to all who contributed.

If you want to learn more about the first Carolyn Keene and all of the other books and series she wrote, please visit the Mildred Wirt Benson Website and learn more about the biography I'm writing about this fascinating woman. Below are some images of her author's copy of the first book, Ruth Fielding and Her Great Scenario, which she ghostwrote for Edward Stratemeyer for his Ruth Fielding series.
