2011 Book Hunting for Nancy Drew #2

I ventured into Patterns of the Past Antique Mall in Apache Junction, AZ (one the gang went to at the 2005 Nancy Drew convention) to check them out and search for books. I didn't see a whole lot of Nancy Drew books--the one above was in pretty poor shape and fairly common so I passed on it.

This shelf was full of flashlight edition Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books.

I did spot these nice shape Trixie Beldens--I snapped up some of them.

There were some matte Hardy Boys and some brown tweeds mixed in with Bobbseys and misc. books.

The following pictures are from one section full of books and I found lots of variety--though nothing that really called out to me to purchase. There was a mixture of Bobbsey Twins, Power Boys, Beverly Gray, Donna Parker, Trixie Belden, Vicki Barr, Cherry Ames, Tom Swift, Rover Boys, Boy Scout Explorers, misc. Whitman books and series--many were lacking their dust jackets sadly.

Wow, lucky you! I'm going to a flea market this weekend and keeping my fingers crossed that I'll come across some Nancy Drew's.

Nice finds. :-) I especially like the Bobbsey Twins books. And I love that you have Relient K's "Nancy Drew" playing on the blog! Awesome! As both a RK fan and Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys fan, I love it! (Relient K is one of my top favorite Christian bands ever. :-))
I've been enjoying checking out your blog and website- lots of good stuff here. Rock on. :-)

@Nancy - hope you find something great :) @Anon - Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it. We fans like their ND song--it's pretty neat.
